OUR TRAINING PHILOSOPHY

Our training philosophy is simple: we want to support you throughout a continuum of learning. We provide training programs led by expert faculty that help build upon fundamental concepts and hands-on skills. We provide opportunities for fellows to observe and work with our latest products, including the chance to use advanced simulation technology.

Learn about treatment strategies for low back pain. Topics include:

Do I need to pay to attend a program?

We follow local compliance guidelines and corporate policies regarding financial support and payments to health care professionals.

How do I register?

Contact your local Abbott representative for more information.

How many events may I attend?

The fellowship curriculum is based on five modules that are mandatory to attend.

How does Abbott select faculty?

We select faculty by their academic, professional, and clinical experience. For most programs, Abbott selects nationally recognized physicians who masterfully present their specialties.

How do you decide what courses to offer in your programs?

We conduct meetings annually to gather input from physicians on course content, curriculum design, and program scheduling.

I am not sure which programs are right for me. Who I do I contact?

Contact your local Abbott representative.

I just graduated from a fellowship. Can I still attend these courses?

Yes. Courses are designed to meet the educational needs of fellows from their first year of fellowship to their first three years after fellowship. Look for the course overview and audience recommendations when reviewing the course calendar.

Does Abbott provide professional education grants for national society or board review courses?

We follow local compliance guidelines and corporate policies regarding financial support and payments to health care professionals. Professional education grants are available for institutions and organizations. For details about the process and parameters, visit the Abbott Grant Applications page.
